Ingredients
- 2 cups flour, sifted
- 1 tsp. salt
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 egg, well beaten
- 3 Tbsp. melted butter
- Milk ( about 2/3 cup )
Directions

Sift dry ingredients together.

Add egg, melted butter and enough milk to make a moist stiff batter.

Drop by teaspoonful into boiling liquid.

Cover very closely and cook for 18 minutes.

Makes 2 dozen.
