Cream Cheese Frosting

Yield: Frosting for top and sides of a 9" 3-layer cake. To be used with Carrot Cake Recipe.

Ingredients
- 2 C sifted confectioners' sugar
- 1/2 lb cream cheese
- 4 Tbsp unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
Directions

Sift sugar into the bowl of an electric mixer. Beat in remaining ingredients.

Beat until smooth and creamy.
