Ingredients
- 1/3 c olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, peeled and sliced
- 3 Tb finely chopped onion
- 3 Tb finely chopped parsely
- 1 28 oz can whole tomatoes
- 1 bay leaf
- Dash salt
- Dash black pepper
- Fresh basil (optional)
Directions

In a saucepan, heat oil over medium heat.

Add garlic and saute for 2-3 min.

Add parsley and onion. Slowly add tomatoes. Stir to break up tomatoes.

Add bay leaf, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil.

Cover and simmer sauce over low heat for about 15 min.

Add some chopped basil leaves.
