- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 c SR flour
- 150g butter, melted
- 1 c ground almonds
- Topping- 1 c caster sugar
- 1/2 c water
- 1 vanilla bean, split
- 2 oranges, thinly sliced

Whisk eggs, sugar and vanilla until thick, pale and 3x in volume.

Sift flour over the egg mixture and fold through. Fold in butter and almond meal.

Pour batter over oranges.

Bake 40-45 minutes or until cooked
