salt and pepper tofu

Ingredients
- 1 package of tofu
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Directions

cut tofu into 1/2" thick slices and press between clean towels with a weight on top for 20 minutes or longer

once pressed, cut tofu into bite sized pieces

put the salt, pepper, and garlic powder into a bag

add tofu
-
shake until tofu is covered and let sit (the longer the better)

fry tofu in a skillet with olive oil
-
serve over rice
-
can add fresh garlic slices and fresh ginger for added flavor.
