breakfast quinoa

Serves 2 people

Ingredients

  • -1 cup quinoa
  • -2 cups milk
  • -3 tbsp brown sugar
  • -1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • -fruit (bananas, blueberries, etc.)

Directions

  1. -bring milk to a boil

  2. -clean quinoa

  3. -add quinoa once milk is boiling

  4. -bring back to a boil and then simmer until milk is 3/4 gone

  5. -add cinnamon and sugar

  6. -simmer until milk is almost all gone

  7. -serve with additional sugar and cinnamon sprinkled over the top with fruit and additional milk
