Cheese & Onion Chicken Rolls

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken fillets
  • 60g mild-flavoured cheese
  • 1 onion
  • Vegetable oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 12 toothpicks

Directions

  1. Dice the onion and fry it with vegetable oil and salt until golden-brown.

  2. Shred the cheese and mix it with the onions.

  3. Wash the fillets and pat them with a paper towel. Cut each fillet slantwise into 3 smaller fillets, sprinkle with salt.

  4. Put 1 tsp of the cheese&onion mix onto each of the fillets and roll them up into cylinders. Fix each roll with a toothpick.

  5. Cook in an open skillet over a medium heat with some vegetable oil until ready and golden-brown on both sides.
