Ingredients
- 6 to 7 c. thinly sliced apples
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 Tb. butter
- cinnamon
- nutmeg
Directions

Put half the apples in the bottom crust, then sprinkle with half the sugar. Put the rest of the apples on top of that, then the rest of the sugar. Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg, dot with butter, and cover with top crust. Bake at 425° for 20 minutes, then at 375° for 30-40 minutes.
