Ingredients
- 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. quick-cooking oats
- 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
Directions

In a mixing bowl, cream butter and brown sugar.

Beat in egg and vanilla.

Add the flour and oats; mix well.

Pour into a lightly greased 11×7 baking pan. Bake at 375 for 15-20 minutes or until lightly browned.

Cool on a wire rack for 3-5 min.

Sprinkle with choc. chips; when melted, spread chocolate over bars.

Top with nuts.
