Ingredients
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
- 4 onions, chopped
- 6 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 1/2 lbs. ground beef
- 1 1/2 lbs. beef sirloin, cubed
- 2 (14.5 oz) cans peeled and diced tomatoes with juice
- 2 (12 oz) beer, dark
- 2 c. coffee, strong brewed
- 4 (6 oz) tomato paste
- 2 (14 oz) beef broth
- 1 c. brown sugar, packed
- 7 Tbsp. chili powder
- 2 Tbsp. cumin seeds
- 2 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tsp. dried oregano
- 2 tsp. ground cayenne pepper
- 2 tsp. coriander
- 2 tsp. salt
- 8 (15 oz) kidney beans (to taste)
- 8 hot chile peppers, seeded and chopped (to taste)

Mix and cook 2 hours in cast iron pot over an open fire. Stir often.
