Potato Salad

Comes a little thin. Either let stand longer or less liquid.

Cook time: 20 minutes
Serves 4 people

Ingredients

  • 6-8 potatoes
  • 4 bacon
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • salt
  • pepper

Directions

  1. Boil potatoes with jackets. When pierced easily by fork and cool enough to handle, peel by hand and slice. Add salt and pepper to taste.

  2. Fry bacon and cut into small pieces. Add to potatoes

  3. Use bacon grease and add onion, vinegar, water, and sugar. Heat and pour over potatoes. Let stand awhile to blend.
