Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 salmon, filet
- olive oil
- 1 cup mashed avocado
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice, fresh
- 6 tablespoons mayonnaise
Directions

Preheat broiler. Combine sugar, paprika, salt, cumin, black pepper and chili powder.

Rinse fish and pat dry. Place fish, skin side down, in a broiler pan. Brush top with olive oil and sprinkle evenly with brown sugar mixture. Broil 5 inches from heat for about 2 minutes or until sugar mixture begins to caramelize.

Turn oven to bake and cook for 8-12 minutes or until fish flakes with a fork.

Mash avocado, lemon juice and mayo until very smooth. Cover and chill until ready to serve.
