Beef Sauce (Base)

This is a beef sauce that can be used in other recipes to save some time.

Ingredients
- 4 lbs ground beef
- 4 medium onions (or 2 large vidalia onions)
- 5 celery ribs, thinly sliced
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 cans (28oz ea.) diced tomatoes, drained
- 2 cans (6oz ea.) tomato paste
- 1/4 cup minced parsley (preferably fresh)
- 1 tbsp salt
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
Directions

Cook beef, onion, celery & garlic until meat is no longer pink and vegetables are tender.

Drain.

Stir in remaining ingredients.

Bring to boil; reduce heat.

Simmer uncovered for 1- 1 ½ hours, stirring occasionally.

Cool.

Transfer into freezer bags (2 cups each). Keeps up to 3 months.
