Choc Chip Caramel nut bars

Ingredients

  • •1 pkg. (16.5 oz.) NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Refrigerated Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, softened, divided
  • •1/2 cup chopped walnuts, divided
  • •1/2 cup caramel syrup or ice cream topping

Directions

  1. PREHEAT oven to 350° F. Grease 8-inch-square baking pan.

  2. PRESS 3/4 package of cookie dough into prepared baking pan. Bake for 10 minutes.

  3. SPRINKLE 1/4 cup nuts over cookie crust; drizzle caramel syrup over nuts. Top with teaspoonfuls of remaining cookie dough; press gently into caramel syrup. Sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup nuts.

  4. BAKE for 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are set. Cool completely in pan on wire rack.
