Tuna Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 (12 ounce) egg noodles
  • 1/4 c. onions, chopped
  • 2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 c. green peas, frozen
  • 2 (6 ounce) tuna, drained
  • 2 (10.75 ounce) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 (4.5 ounce) mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup potato chips, crushed

Directions

  1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook pasta in boiling water for 8 to 10 minutes, or until al dente; drain.

  2. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).

  3. In a large bowl, thoroughly mix noodles, onion, 1 cup cheese, peas, tuna, soup and mushrooms. Transfer to a 9×13 inch baking dish, and top with potato chip crumbs and remaining 1 cup cheese.

  4. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes in the preheated oven, or until cheese is bubbly.
