Salmon w/ brown butter, almonds and green beans

Ingredients
- 4 T unsalted butter
- 1 1/4 pounds salmon fillet cut into 4 pieces
- salt and pepper
- 1 pound green beans, trimmed and halved crosswise
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
- 2 T capers
Directions

Heat 1 T of the butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat

Season salmon with 1/2 t salt and 1/4 t with pepper

Cook until opaque throughout, 3 to 5 minutes per side and transfer to plates

Fill a second skillet with 1/2 inch of water brunt to boil and add 1/4 t salt

Add green beans, cover and steam until tender, 4 to 5 minutes; drain and transfer to plates

Wipe out green bean skillet and heat the remaining 3 T of butter over medium heat

Add almonds and cook stirring frequently until the almonds and butter are golden brown, 2 to 3 minutes

Stir in capers

Spoon over fish and green beans
