Ingredients
- 1 pkg. rapid-rise yeast (or regular)
- 1/2 c. water (warm to touch)
- 1/2 c. milk, scalded and cooled
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. butter, softened
- 1 t. salt
- 2 eggs
- flour
- cinnamon sugar
Directions
-
Dissolve yeast in water.
-
Add milk, sugar, 1/2 c. butter, salt, eggs and enough flour to give the mixture the consistency of thick batter.
-
Beat.

Add just enough flour so you can get the dough out of the bowl. Knead on a floured surface until smooth, adding as little flour as possible. Let rise until double.
-
Punch down. Pull into a rectangular shape. Spread with 1/2 c. butter and add as much cinnamon sugar as the butter will absorb.
-
Roll the long way and cut with dental floss. Let rise.
-
Bake at 350 until brown on top. Frost.
