Lemon Chicken Legs

Breast can also be used as a substitute. Dried rosemary works just as well as fresh and can be omitted too.

Prep time: 15 minutes
Cook time: 25 minutes
Serves 3 people

Ingredients

  • Oil
  • Garlic
  • 8 Chicken Drumsticks
  • Pepper and Salt
  • White Wine
  • Lemon
  • Water
  • Rosemary

Directions

  1. In a big pan heat oil and fry garlic lightly. Add chicken and season with salt and pepper and cook to brown.

  2. Add wine and cook to reduce. Add lemon juice water and rosemary. Cook on a low heat for 45 mins to an hour, until sticky. Remove fat, baste and cook for a further 5 mins.
