Chili Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 lb bulk pork sausage
  • 2 c water
  • 1 can (15 1/2 oz) chili beans, drained
  • 1 can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 3/4 c uncooked long grain rice
  • 1/4 c chopped onion
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp prepared mustard
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 c shredded cheddar cheese

Directions

  1. In a large skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Transfer into slowcooker. Add the next 10 ingredients; stir well.

  2. Cover and cook on low for 7 hours or until the rice is tender.

  3. Stir in cheese during the last 10 minutes of cooking time.
