Cheesy Italian Tortellini

Ingredients

  • 11 oz ground beef
  • 11 oz italian sausage, casings removed
  • 1 1/3 (16oz) jar marinara sauce
  • 1 1/2 (4.5oz) can sliced mushrooms
  • 1 1/3 (14.5oz) can diced tomatoes, drained
  • 1 1/3 (9oz) pkg refrigerated cheese tortellini
  • 1 1/3 c shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2/3 c shredded cheddar cheese

Directions

  1. Crumble the ground beef and Italian sausage into a large skillet. Cook over medium-high heat until browned. Drain.

  2. Combine the ground meats, marinara sauce, mushrooms & tomatoes in a slow cooker. Cover and cook on low heat for 7-8 hours.

  3. Stir in the tortellini and sprinkle the mozzarella & cheddar cheese over the top. Cover and cook for 15 minutes on low or until tortellini is tender.
