Grandma’s Cinnamon Buns

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c warm water
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp quick yeast
  • 3 1/2 c warm water
  • 1/4 c sugar
  • 4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 c vegetable oil
  • 9 1/2 - 10 c flour

Directions

  1. Mix the first 3 ingredients in a small bowl and put somewhere warm to rise.

  2. Put the rest of the ingredients (except flour) in a mixer. Mix well. Slowly add flour gradually until all in Add yeast mixture.

  3. Flour table, put dough on flour & roll & shape into a ball. Put small amount of oil into a large bowl. Put dough ball in bowl. Cover with towel & put somewhere warm to rise. Punch dough down, turn over & keep in bowl. Let rise again.

  4. Tear off piece of dough & roll out into a square. Spread butter, sprinkle with sugar & cinnamon. Roll dough into log and cut into sections.

  5. Grease pan & put rolls in pan.

  6. Sprinkle with cinammon & sugar.

  7. Let rise for a few minutes on oven door or stove top.

  8. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
