Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients

  • 3/4 c creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 c Crisco All Vegetable shortening
  • 1 1/4 c firmly packed brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 1 tbsp vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 1 3/4 c flour
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 tsp baking soda

Directions

  1. eheat oven to 375.

  2. Combine peanut butter, shortening, brown sugar, milk & vanilla in a large bowl.

  3. Beat at medium speed until well blended. Add egg & beat until blended. Add remaining ingredients. Mix until blended.

  4. Drop by heaping teaspoonfulls 2" apart onto ungreased baking sheet.

  5. Flatten slightly in criss cross pattern with fork.

  6. Bake in preheated oven for 7-8 minutes or until set and just beginning to brown.
