Ingredients

• 1 cup butter
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup powdered sugar
• 1 cup oil
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 4-1/2 cups flour
• 1 tsp. salt
• 1 tsp. baking soda
• 1 tsp. cream of tartar

Directions

1. Cream butter, sugar, powdered sugar and oil.

2. Add two eggs beaten, and vanilla.

3. Sift together flour, salt, baking soda and cream of tartar.

4. Mix with butter and sugar mixture.

5. Roll 1 tsp. dough into a ball.

6. Roll ball in sugar.

7. Place on greased cookie sheet and press down.

8. Bake 12-13 minutes until lightly brown on edges.

9. Makes 5 doz.
