Celery / Cucumber Pickles

Taste like bread and butter pickles

Ingredients
- 6 large cucumbers
- Celery
- Onions
- 1 qt. vinegar
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/3 c. salt
Directions

Soak cucumbers in ice water 5 hours (or up to a day seems to work out okay)

Cut cucumbers into strips

Pack closely in hot quart jars (about 3) with 3 branches celery and 3 slices onion in each jar. I chopped the celery, and it worked out okay.

Bring vinegar, sugar, water, and salt to a rapid boil. Pour over pickles in jars.

Adjust lids and process 5 minutes in boiling water bath.
