Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1 3/4 cups sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 14 egg whites
- 1 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 3/4 teaspoon lime oil
- 1 cup sliced strawberries
Directions

Preheat oven to 375

Combine flour with 1 1/4 cups of sugar and set aside

Beat egg whites till firm and add cream of tartar and 1/2 cup sugar and continue beating until stiff peaks form.

Beat in vanilla and lime oil.

Fold in dry ingredients 1/3 at a time.

Spread into muffin tins, leaving the middle 2 empty.

Bake for 15-20 minutes

Invert over 2 glasses to cool

Remove from pan.

Top with sliced strawberries to serve.
