Sweet shortcrust pastry

Ingredients

  • 225g plain flour
  • 100g butter
  • salt, pinch
  • 25g icing sugar
  • egg yolk
  • water, cold

Directions

  1. Rub butter into flour and salt.

  2. Mix in sugar.

  3. Add egg yolk (beaten) and enough water to make dough.

  4. Rest for 20 minutes in fridge.
