Ingredients
- 4 cups flour
- 1 egg
- cold water
- butter
Directions

Combine the flour, egg and cold water

Knead well
-
Cut pieces of butter and place on 1/2 of dough.

Smooth out the butter

Fold over
-
Cover and place in refrigerator for 20 minutes

Roll out again and repeat 5 more times

Place the dough in the refrigerator for 2 hours

Section into 2 parts
-
With the filling side facing you, roll out thin.

Place in buttered pan.

Fill with your choice of filling
-
Repeat with the top layer
-
Dot with butter and bake at 350 until golden brown
