Homemade Applesauce

Ingredients

  • • 3 apples, medium size
  • • 3/4 cup water
  • • 3 Tablespoons sugar

Directions

  1. Wash, pare, core, and cut each apple into 12-16 sections. Add apple slices to boiling water; cover saucepan; cook at simmering temperature until slices are tender and soft-approximately 15-20 minutes.

  2. Stir cooked apple slices with a fork until slices are broken up. Add sugar and stir until sugar is dissolved.
