Eggbake Breakfast Casserole

Ingredients

  • • 8 slices wheat bread
  • • 1 lb. sausage
  • • 2 cups grated cheese
  • • 8 eggs
  • • 3 teaspoons dry mustard
  • • 1 cup skim milk
  • • 1 can cream of mushroom soup

Directions

  1. Butter a 9X13-inch pan. Put bread, cubed in bottom of pan.

  2. Brown sausage, put on top of bread with cheese.

  3. Beat eggs with dry mustard, salt, pepper, and milk. Pour into pan. Cover with foil. Refrigerate overnight.

  4. Uncover and mix cream of mushroom soup with ¼ cup of milk. Pour over top, cover and bake 1 ½ hours at 300°F. Take off foil for the last 10 minutes.
