- • 1 large pkg. (or 2 bunches) spinach
- • 1/2 lb. Swiss cheese
- • 5 strips bacon, cooked, drained, crushed
- • 1 purple onion. Sliced and separated
- Dressing:
- • Whip in blender: 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup vinegar
- • 1 cup vegetable oil-add slowly
- • add 1 Tablespoons poppy seed
- • add 1 Tablespoons grated onion
- • 1 teaspoon. salt, 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
Directions

Remove from blender: Add ¼ – ½ lb. sliced fresh mushrooms, marinate in dressing. Add to salad just before serving.
