Mom’s Skillet Goulash

Serves 6 people

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. (2 2/3 cups) uncooked rotini( spiral pasta)
  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped celery
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 2 (14.5 oz) cans diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz) tomato soup
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Directions

  1. Cook rotini as directed on package. Drain

  2. Meanwhile, in 12 inch nonstick skillet or Dutch oven, cook ground beef, celery and onions over medium- high heat for 5 to 7 minutes or until beef is thoroughly cooked, stirring frquently. Drain

  3. Add cooked rotini and all remaining ingrediebts; mix well. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
