Turtle Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 German Chocolate cake mix
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 3/4 cup melted margarine
  • 1 (14oz) pkg. caramels
  • 1/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Mix cake mix, 1/2 cup evaporated milk and melted margarine together. Pour half of the batter into a greased and floured 9×13 inch pan.

  2. Bake 5-6 minutes at 350 degrees.

  3. Melt caramels with 1/3 cup evaporated milk. Drizzle over cake mixture in the pan.

  4. Sprinkle with pecans and chocolate chips. Pour rest of batter on top.

  5. Bake 18-20 minutes at 350 degrees.
