Ingredients
- 9 cups Chex cereal
- 6 oz. (1 cup) semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

Measure cereal into large bowl; set aside.

Microwave chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter in 1-quart microwavable bowl for 1 minute; stir. Microwave 30 seconds longer or until mixture is smooth; stir in vanilla. Pour chocolate mixture over cereal-stirring until evenly coated.

Pour into large plastic bag (or keep in bowl if it has a lid that fits well). Add powdered sugar. Seal bag (or bowl); shake well until well coated. Spread cool. Store in airtight container in the refrigerator.

**Range top directions: Measure cereal into large bowl; set aside. Add chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter in 1-quart saucepan. Heat, stirring frequently, until melted. Remove from heat. Continue as directed above.
