Lion House Cheesecake

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs, rolled fine
  • 3 Tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3 8-ounce packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 pint sour cream
  • 3 Tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. Mix graham cracker crumbs, butter, and cinnamon. Press firmly into bottom and sides of a 9- or 10- inch spring form pan.

  3. Whip cream cheese; gradually add sugar; then add eggs one at a time. Stir in vanilla. Pour filling into crust. Bake 40 minutes.

  4. Whip sour cream; add sugar and vanilla. Spread on top of cheesecake and return to oven. Bake for 10 minutes more. Cool before removing sides from pan. Refrigerate till ready to serve.
