Christmas Ball Hors D’ouvres

Ingredients

  • 1 cups red pepper, finely diced
  • 2 cups broccoli, finely diced
  • 2 2/3 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 3 egg yolks, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups flat beer
  • 4 teaspoons onion powder

Directions

  1. Toss peppers with broccoli

  2. Mix together flour, baking powder, salt, pepper and onion powder

  3. Mix together the egg yolks and the beer

  4. Add the flour mixture and vegetables

  5. Stir together, but do not over mix

  6. Heat oil and drop by teaspoonfull into hot oil

  7. and cook until brown, about 2-3 minutes
