Ingredients
- 4 large egg whites
- 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup coconut
- 1/2 cup finely chopped unsalted pecans
Directions
- Preheat oven to 300

Beat egg whites, cream of tartar and salt until soft peaks form

Add sugar 1 tablespoon at a time until stiff peaks form

Fold in coconut and pecans

Drop by tablespoonfuls on parchament lined baking sheet

Bake until slightly brown and hard about 25-30 minutes

Cool on a wire rack
