Fried Dough

Kids favorite Christmas Breakfast

Ingredients
- Frozen bread dough
- Crisco
- Additional toppings:
- confectionary sugar
- cinnamon sugar
- butter
- pie filling
- chocolate sauce
- whatever floats you
Directions

Christmas eve (or night before)

Take dough out of freezer

Put dough in greased pan in refridgerator

Christmas morning (or day of)

Take dough out of refridgerator

Put dough on counter/stove (room temperature) to finish rising (1-2 hours)

Place Crisco in cooking apparatus: fryer, electric fry pan, large deep skillet

Heat up the Crisco, want about 2" when melted

Tear pieces of dough and stretch into saucer shapes

Place in the oil
-
Cook and turn

Cook and remove

Place on paper towels
