Dime Store Macaroni and Cheese

Ingredients

  • 7 ounces elbow macaroni
  • 8 ounces Velveeta
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 pound grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Cook macaroni until tender and drain

  2. In another pot over medium heat, melt cheese

  3. Add milk, mayonnaise and cheddar cheese and stir until smooth

  4. Do not boil

  5. Stir in remaining ingredients

  6. Over low heat, add macaroni

  7. Pour into casserole

  8. Can be kept warm at 275 for up to an hour
