Chicken and Spinach Lasagna

Ingredients

  • 1 10 oz package frozen chopped spinach, thawed
  • 3 cups chopped cooked chicken
  • 2 cups matchstick carrots use less
  • 2 (10 oz) packages of refrigerated Alfredo Sauce (paul newman) or 20 oz jar and 1/2
  • 1 10 oz can of cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 4 cups (16 oz ) shreded Italian cheese blend, divided
  • 9 uncooked lasagna noodles
  • 1.4 cup chopped fresh basil

Directions

  1. Drain the spinach well, pressing btwn paper towels.

  2. Stir together spinach, chicken, next 5 ingred and 3 cups of the cheese in a large bowl

  3. Spoon 1/4 of chicken mixture into greesed 9 × 13 pan

  4. Arrange 3 noodles over chicken mixture, breaking to fit

  5. Repeat layers twice

  6. Top with remaining chicken mixture and 1 cup cheese

  8. Cover with aluminum and cook for 50 minutes

  9. Uncover the aluminum add Parmesan cheese and let cook for 10-15 min

  10. Sprinkle with basil

  11. Let stand 10 min before serving
