Gravy Meat

Yummy gravy fried game meat

Ingredients

  • Lean cuts of any type of game meat
  • Flour
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Garlic
  • Any other spices you have in the bush
  • 3 tbsp Butter/Lard or oil
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1/4 cup water

Directions

  1. Slice meat into 1cm thick slices

  2. Coat with flour that has been seasoned with spices/salt/pepper

  3. Heat fat in skillet at medium/high heat

  4. Fry meat until brown on both sides

  5. Add onions and mushrooms and fry until golden

  6. Add water and stir to form gravy

  7. Remove from heat when gravy thickens

  8. EAT!
