Spanish Pickles

Simple tasty pickle

Ingredients

  • 4 quarts cubed cucumbers with seeds removed
  • 1/3 c salt-mix with cucumbers and soak in water for 1 hour. Drain.
  • 4 large green peppers cubed
  • 5 c sugar
  • 1 T celery seed
  • 1 T mustard seed
  • 1/2 t cloves
  • 3 t tumeric
  • 1 can pimentos or red pepper

Directions

  1. Cover vary sparingly with brown vinegar. boil until transparent. cold pack 10-15 minutes. Makes 7 pints
