sour cream pastries

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup appricot preserves
  • 1/2 cup flaked coconut
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 4 beaten egg yolkds
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped pecand

Directions

  1. cut butter into flour unti it looks like fine crumbs

  2. combine egg yolks and sour cream

  3. blend into flour mixture

  4. chilll dough several hrs or overnight

  5. divide dough into four equal parts

  6. keep refrigerated until ready to use

  7. roll dought to 10" cirlces on floured surface

  8. speread with 2 T of apricot preserve, sprinkled with coconute and nuts

  9. cut circles into 12 wedges

  10. staring from cirlce end, roll each wedge into crescents

  11. sprinkle with granulated sugar

  12. place on ungreased sheet and bake at 350 for 20 min or till lightly bornwed

  13. cool on racks

  14. makes about 4 doz
