Teriyaki Pork Roast

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup apple juice
  • 2 T sugar
  • 2 T soy sauce
  • 1 T vinegar
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1 lean boneless pork loin roast
  • 3 T cold water
  • 1.5 T cornstarch

Directions

  1. in a slow cooker mix apple juice sugar soy sauce vinegar giner garlice poweder and pep

  2. add roast turning to coat

  3. turn fat side up

  4. ver and cook on hgih for 3.5-4 hrs or on low for 7-8 hrs

  5. transfer meat to a warm platter cover and keep warn

  6. strain cooking liquid and place in a small saucepan

  7. skim off fat if desired, over med heat, bring to a boil

  8. meanwhile in a small vowl mix water and cornstarch until smoothe, stir into boiling liquid. stirrig bring to a boil and boild for one to two min or until thickened

  9. serve with rice and mixed oriental veggies
