Beef Stew

Prep time: 15 minutes
Cook time: 300 minutes
Serves 6 people

Ingredients
- 1/2 C flour
- 1 1/3 lbs. beef, cut in chunks
- 1 small/medium yellow onion, chopped
- 3 medium carrots, cut in discs -or- 1lb. package of baby carrots
- 4-5 red potatoes, chopped -or- 3 medium russet potatoes, chopped
- 1 package white boiler or pearl onions, skinned (optional)
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 Tbsp Worstcheshire sauce
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 can beef broth -or- 1 cube beef bullion dissolved in 1 C water
- 4 cups water
Directions

Coat beef chunks with flour by placing flour and beef in a plastic bag and shaking vigorously

Put all ingredients and spices into slow cooker including loose flour left over from coating the beef

Stir to mix up ingredients and get flour off the bottom of the pot

Cook on high for 3-5 hours, depending on how soft you want the vegetables
