Chicken Gravy Mix

Ingredients

  • 1-1/3 cups instant nonfat milk powder
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 3 tablespoons instant chicken bouillon granules
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground sage
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground thyme
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine

Directions

  1. Cut the butter into about four pieces

  2. Mix everything together in the food processor or blend with pastry blender or two knives.

  3. Store in the refrigerator.

  4. To make gravy, use a 1:2 ratio of water to gravy mix.

  5. Put mix and water in saucepan and cook on medium until slightly thickened
