Ronzoni Small Shells Box

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of Ronzoni Small Shells
  • 2 cups chopped onions
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup chopped carrots
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 cups (two 14-oz. cans) great Northern beans, drained
  • 3 1/2 cups (two 14.5 oz. cans) vegetable broth
  • 1 can tomato petit cut diced, undrained
  • 2 cups (19 oz. can) red kidney beans, drained
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano leaves

Directions

  1. First, chop Carrots and Celery

  2. Then, chop onions and garlic, then mince in chopper; saute onions and garlic only in oil.

  3. Boil water for pasta shells

  4. Rinse red kidney and northern beans in colander

  5. Add tomato juice and half can of tomatoes

  6. Add vegetable broth

  7. Add beans, celery and carrots

  8. Add Oregano

  9. Let simmer
