Ingredients
- 2 pkgs yeast
- 1 C warm water
- 2 C milk, scalded then cooled to lukewarm
- 2 C mashed potatoes
- 1 1/2 C shortening
- 1 C sugar
- 1 T salt
- 4 eggs
- 12 - 16 C flour
Directions

Dissolve yeast in water

Add to milk

Combine potatoes, shortening, sugar, salt, and eggs in large bowl

Cream well

Add yeast

Add enough flour to make a stiff dough. The dough should still be slightly sticky

Knead
-
Place in large mixing bowl and cover

Let dough rise until double

Punch down
-
Form into rolls and place on greased baking sheet

Let rise for 15 minutes

Bake at 375 for 12 – 15 minutes or until golden.
