Pork Chops with Apples

Ingredients

  • 4 med apples, peeled, cored and cubed
  • juice of 1 lemmon1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1-2 tbs veg oil
  • 4 pork chops
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/4 cup apple cider or juice
  • 1 tbs butter (opt)
  • Sprinkle apples with lemon and nutmeg
  • Warm 10 inch skillet over med heat and add enough oil to keep pork from sticking
  • when hot add chops and pinch of salt and pepper
  • after about 6 minutes, turn the chops to brown the other side
  • After 5 minute, push hops aside and ook apples
  • Cover pan and cook for 2 mintes
  • Remonve pok, continue cooking apple 3 minutes, deglaze pan with cidfer or juice by turning up heat and scraping bits - add butter if desired
