Ingredients
- 4 med apples, peeled, cored and cubed
- juice of 1 lemmon1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1-2 tbs veg oil
- 4 pork chops
- salt and pepper
- 1/4 cup apple cider or juice
- 1 tbs butter (opt)
- Sprinkle apples with lemon and nutmeg
- Warm 10 inch skillet over med heat and add enough oil to keep pork from sticking
- when hot add chops and pinch of salt and pepper
- after about 6 minutes, turn the chops to brown the other side
- After 5 minute, push hops aside and ook apples
- Cover pan and cook for 2 mintes
- Remonve pok, continue cooking apple 3 minutes, deglaze pan with cidfer or juice by turning up heat and scraping bits - add butter if desired
