Easy Holiday Truffles

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup whipping cream
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • coatings: coconut, skor bar, chopped chocolate chips, sprinkles, peanut butter chips, nuts etc.

Directions

  1. Heat cream in a heavy 2 quart saucepan, just to boiling

  2. Remove from heat.

  3. Add chips, stir with whisk until melted and smooth.

  4. Stir in vanilla.

  5. Pour into medium bowl

  6. Cover and refrigerate 3 hours or until firm

  7. Line baking sheet with waxed paper

  8. Drop chocolate mixture by heaping teaspoons onto prepared baking sheet.

  9. Freeze about 45 minutes.

  10. Place coatings in seperate bowls.

  11. Shape into 1 inch balls.

  12. Roll in coatings.

  13. Cover and refrigerate about 2 hours.

  14. Store in airtight container for 1 week
