Ingredients
- 6 pounds potatoes
- 1 cup milk
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- white pepper
Directions

Wash and pare potatoes

Heat salted water to boiling.

Add potatoes and cover and cook until soft

In a pot, heat milk, butter, salt and pepper

Pass the potatoes through a sieve

Gradually add hot milk mixture, beating with mixer, just until smooth.

Do not overbeat
